Fashion Photoshoot with Studio By Carmen

On February 21st, Troubletimes2 had the honor of working with Carmen from Studio by Carmen (www.studiobycarmen). We've worked with Carmen in the past before and we have nothing but good things to say about her. She is extremely creative and has such a great eye for detail. We had the opportunity of working with 3 great models. Two of which are considered our muses when designing. And of course we couldn't of done it without our wonderful makeup artist Christina Menchero. With each photoshoot, with each fashion show, we get to learn and experience something new. Carmen sent us these 2 photos from that shoot. Consider them a sneak peak of what's to come. Nothing short of amazing!

Fashion Shows!

This past weekend Troubletimes2 had not only 1 but 2 Fashion Shows.

We had the opportunity of working with the Paul Mitchell school of cosmetology. The theme was a Circus Couture. Although, our designs aren't exactly circus like, we think it's safe to say the colors seem to blend in very very nicely. Photographer JustCallJames.com did a fabulous job on the pictures! We also did a fashion show where the theme was tutu's and tulle! However we are currently pending some pictures so as soon as we get all the pictures from that show they will be posted!

troubletimes2 is ecstatically happy because our name has officially been registered!!! Not only that but earlier today we placed an order for our business cards! They are so freaking cute!!! We are in love with them!!! We currently have a lot going on, but only good things! =) Hope all our trouble makers like them as well!!

Fashion Photoshoot Success!!!

This Sunday, we had the pleasure of working with Forte Model Firm led by Ms. Wanda www.fortemodelfirm.webnode.com. We got to meet a wonderful makeup artist named Divine Eyez by Natasha (Simply Amazing)! We also got to work with some really wonderful and talented photographers such as Alicia Nicole Trisciuzzi www.ALICIA-NICOLE.com and Aran S Graham www.aranphoto.com . You guys were so AWESOME and have such a great eye for detail! We also had the pleasure of working with models: Taryn, Nicole, Natasha and Keva who really rocked our clothes! We truly enjoyed ourselves during the shoot and look forward to working with you all in the future again!! Our clothes would not have looked this good without all of the collaboration from everyone! A Fashion Photo Shoot!

troubletimes2 is happy to announce that on 3/28/10 we will be working together again with www.fortemodelfirm.webnode.com to take some wonderful pictures! We can't express enough how excited we are about this!!! We haven't even begun and we are anxious to see the end product!

Hello World!

Let us begin by introducing ourselves. Our names are Jeannine & Kettysley. We are a couple of shortys! I'm 5'0 tall and also known as baby beast! In time you will understand why. Kettysley, aka "Special K" is only 4'11. Hey! Did you know that if your under 5'0 your considered a legal midget and therefore considered handicapped??? I didn't know that! I just barely made it!! Phew! Thank God for that!! Although sadly I can't say the same for Ketty though. Yet, I must admit I think she should go for it! It might save us time walking when we go shopping. But I digress. This blog will be used to constantly keep everyone informed about our sewing/fashion adventures.

We currently have 2 fashion shows coming up in April.

April 16th (teamed up with the Paul Mitchell school with a circus theme)

April 17th (a tutu based theme where proceeds will be going to kids in distress)

Mind you we are suppose to have a total of 12 tutus for the April 17th show but have we finished them yet?? We are not even halfway done. We have 5 completely made. Yet are we concerned? No! For some reason we just seem to work better under pressure! I guess we like the abuse.
